Trish lives in Wyoming with her husband and kids. They strive to provide a good life for their kids, but they say "[f]eeding our kids hasn't always been easy [...] When you're financially hit, you're just without and there's nothing more scary than when you've got to figure out how to feed your kids." They have to stretch their meals and even with jobs, affording food can be challenging. They receive groceries from a food distribution center, but also volunteer there to give back. The food distribution centers are super helpful for them and they are very grateful for them.

Anne and her husband originally relied on their dairy cows for income. But as of 2019, the money they were making was not enough to keep food on the table. So, they looked to a local food pantry. Their local food pantry helped feed her family (her, her husband, and her three kids). The stress of having to worry about food being lifted off their shoulders allowed them to focus on shifting their farm operations. Now, the family is able to support themselves, but are also looking to give back to the pantry they received support from.

Roberta, a mom in in Iowa, has a career in home healthcare. But, she gets support from her local food bank. On Thanksgiving, she needed a little extra help affording her family's Thanksgiving meal. She is extremely grateful for the food and says that "it would be a normal day without this food."
